Panel Language

Your stable's admin, staff, and member panels can run in English, French, or Dutch. This is a single setting for the whole stable — not a per-person preference — so every admin, staff member, and boarder sees the same language when they log in.

Where to change it​

Go to Admin → Configuration → Panel Language and pick one of the three options. The change is saved immediately and applies everywhere the next time a page loads — no restart, no re-deploy.

What it covers​

  • The admin panel (dashboard, horse records, billing, configuration, everything under /admin)
  • The staff view (/staff) grooms and yard hands use day to day
  • The member portal (/members) boarders and owners use

Every screen in these three areas — labels, buttons, form fields, notifications — renders in the chosen language, including dates and times, which follow the selected language's local formatting instead of a hardcoded locale.

What it doesn't cover​

The Panel Language setting only affects the logged-in application. It does not translate your public website — horse sales listings, the blog, and page-editor content stay in whichever language you wrote them in. The one exception is a technical SEO signal: your chosen language is declared as the public site's lang attribute for search engines, but the visible page content itself is not automatically translated or offered in multiple languages to visitors.

If you need your public sales listings themselves available to international (e.g. German or English-speaking) buyers, that's a separate, not-yet-available capability — today you'd write listing text in your own language, or maintain multiple copies manually.

Who should use this​

  • A stable with French- or English-speaking staff or boarders who previously had to work around a Dutch-only interface.
  • A stable that simply prefers running day-to-day operations in a language other than Dutch.

Switching the language doesn't change or lose any data — horse records, invoices, and everything else stay exactly as they are. Only the interface language changes.
